Transparency & Integrity

At Project Gerson, transparency is more than a nonprofit principle - it’s personal. I was shaped by the Jesuit education I received, where integrity was non-negotiable. At my school, if a student stole even something as small as an ice cream sandwich from the cafeteria, he was immediately expelled (yes, it happened). The lesson was clear: honesty matters, even when no one is watching, even in the smallest of things.
That commitment to integrity is what I now carry into Project Gerson. When people trust us with their generosity, I believe they deserve to know exactly how that trust is honored.
Living Our Values Through Transparency
Integrity in Action: We will always be honest by sharing victories as well as struggles.
Cura Personalis (Care for the Whole Person): We show the progress of the boys with dignity, reminding everyone that each child is more than their challenges.
Accountability to Our Mission: Every dollar entrusted to us is clearly tracked and shared, so you know where it goes.
Service Rooted in Justice: We ensure that resources directly serve the boys who need them most.
Annual Report
Each year, we will publish a detailed report that includes:
A breakdown of donations and expenses
Clear explanations of how resources were used
Reflections on challenges we faced and how we addressed them
Our strategic goals for the year ahead
Why This Matters
Transparency isn’t just about numbers - it’s about trust. It’s about honoring supporters, respecting the boys, and staying true to the Jesuit values that formed me: integrity, accountability, and service to others.
